Vanuatu – Finding Paradise in the South Pacific, Pt. 2

“Like any place, Vanuatu has good and bad. Whenever I travel, I always look for the good and hope that, in the end, all the good outweighs the bad. For me, paradise doesn’t mean that a place is perfect in every way. Instead, it means that I found peace there. That the fit was easy. That I saw beauty all around me, and that, at the end of the day, the good ended up outweighing the bad.”

Last week, I shared that I had written a guest blog on finding paradise in Vanuatu for Julie Tetel Andresen’s site. Part 2 of the blog is now LIVE.

In the first post, I talked about all the ways that Vanuatu took my breath away. In this post, I talk about what it means to find paradise, even while understanding that everything isn’t perfect.

Earlier this week, Vanuatu was hit by category 5 Tropical Cyclone Harold, which brought devastating winds. My thoughts are with the amazing and resilient people who received me so warmly. 🙏🏾
